This innovative, fully online program offers a solution to the growing skills crisis by equipping students with industry-relevant knowledge and expertise.

You'll build critical competencies and practical skills in areas like storytelling, script analysis, team management, content marketing, audience analytics, and entertainment law. Plus, before you finish, you’ll engage in an industry internship and a capstone project to put your skills to the test in a real-world scenario.

By leveraging CSUN's proximity to the entertainment capital of the world, the Entertainment Industry Management program is uniquely positioned to equip the next generation of entertainment industry managers with the skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary to excel in this dynamic industry.

With over a quarter of a million jobs in Los Angeles, the entertainment industry is one of the largest regional employers. However, the sector is facing a significant skills shortage, with 74% of employers globally reporting a lack of required competencies among available talent, according to a 2025 survey. CSUN's program, which launched in 2024, alleviates this shortage, graduating its first cohort in Summer 2026—just in time to meet a deficit of 40,000 workers.
